Rainbow Wall Hanging Free Pattern

Make this rainbow wall hanging to brighten up your home while you are in self-isolation or lock-down due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It’s a quick and easy project and a great stash buster.

Start with purple/violet yarn:
Row 1: Magic ring & 6 sc into it [6]
Row 2: Increase in all stitches [12]
Row 3: sc 1, inc x 6 [18]
Row 4: sc 2, inc x 6 [24]
Change to indigo/blue:
Row 5: sc 3, inc x 6 [30]
Row 6: sc 4, inc x 6 [36]
Row 7: sc 5, inc x 6 [42]
Row 8: sc 6, inc x 6 [48]
Change to green:
Row 9: sc 7, inc x 6 [54]
Row 10: sc 8, inc x 6 [60]
Row 11: sc 9, inc x 6 [66]
Row 12: sc 10, inc x 6 [72]
Change to yellow:
Row 13: sc 11, inc x 6 [78]
Row 14: sc 12, inc x 6 [84]
Row 15: sc 13, inc x 6 [90]
Row 16: sc 14, inc x 6 [96]
Change to orange:
Row 17: sc 15, inc x 6 [102]

Fold your circle in half with the second part of the circle in front so that your hook is on the top right.

Insert your hook into both layers and sc across through both sides of the circle until you get to the end of the half circle. Fasten off. Weave in your ends.

Add tassels in corresponding colours.

Add a chain to the top of the rainbow.
