Cuddle Me Bear amigurumi pattern

Cuddle Me Bear amigurumi pattern

Teddy bears are one of the most beloved children’s toys ever. Named after Theodore “Teddy” Roosevelt, a teddy bear is a soft toy in the form of a bear. Teddy bears became iconic children’s toys in the early 20th century, often celebrated in stories, songs and films.

If you make amigurumi, the chances are good that you’ve made a teddy bear before or you want to make one soon. You can make them with any yarn, depending on your wants and needs at the time.

This free pattern from Amigurumi Today can be viewed on their website and clipped to your Evernote notebooks with the Evernote web clipper. If you prefer to save time, you can buy the PDF pattern for as little as $2.

You will need:

  • Cotton yarn of desired colours (I like Elle Premier Cotton 4ply or Moya cotton DK for a bigger teddy bear)
  • 2.0 – 2.5 mm crochet hook
  • Fiberfill for stuffing
  • 6 mm safety eyes
  • Some brown thread or yarn for nose
  • A button for scarf
  • Scissors and sewing needle
